SubhX NMS · Network MonitoringAdd-on

Know the moment a device goes down — not when someone complains.

SubhX NMS keeps a constant eye on your routers, switches, firewalls and servers. It pings each device for uptime and latency, reads SNMP health, graphs live interface traffic, and alerts your team the instant a rule trips — so you fix outages before the office notices, and prove your SLA when it matters.

Illustrative — your board reflects the devices you add and the rules you set.

What you get

Full-fat monitoring, without the setup pain

Everything you'd expect from a serious network monitor — uptime and latency, SNMP device and interface health, resource graphs, configurable rules and smart alerts — turned on from the marketplace and priced per device.

  • Uptime & availability

Continuous ICMP monitoring tells you the instant a device goes dark — and gives you the numbers to prove your SLA.

    • Round-trip latency: average, min and max
    • Packet loss % and jitter on every host
    • Uptime % over 24 h, 7 days and 30 days
  • SNMP device monitoring

Point NMS at a device over SNMP v2c or v3 and it reads the device's own identity — no manual data entry to keep in sync.

    • Auto-reads name, OS / vendor and system uptime
    • Pulls location and contact straight from the device
    • Secure SNMP v3 (auth + privacy) or classic v2c
  • Interface & port monitoring

Auto-discovers every port on a switch or router and graphs the traffic on each — so a saturated uplink shows up before users complain.

    • Live in / out traffic per port in bps
    • Up / down status, errors and utilisation
    • Spot the saturated link at a glance
  • Resource health

Read the load inside each device over SNMP HOST-RESOURCES, with history graphs so you see a trend building — not just today's number.

    • CPU load per device, tracked over time
    • Memory used % and disk used %
    • History graphs, not just a live gauge
  • Configurable alert rules

Set your own thresholds for what 'a problem' means on your network. Every rule carries a threshold, a duration and a severity you choose.

    • Device down, high latency, high packet loss
    • Interface down, high port utilisation
    • High CPU, memory or disk — your numbers
  • Smart alerting

The moment a rule trips, NMS notifies your team through the channels they already watch — with none of the noise a naive monitor generates.

    • Web + mobile push, no new app to check
    • Transition-gated — one alert, not a storm
    • Auto-clears the moment the device recovers
  • Full event log

Every state change and alert is recorded, so you can answer 'when exactly did it go down, and when did it come back?' without guessing.

    • Every up / down transition timestamped
    • Alert raised and cleared, side by side
    • The paper trail behind your SLA reports
  • Dashboards

An estate overview to scan the whole network in one glance, and a per-device view that goes as deep as you need with time-series charts.

    • Estate status tiles with sparklines
    • Per-device tabs: Overview, Interfaces, Health, Events
    • Time-series charts on every metric
  • Setup in seconds

Add a device by hostname or IP, pick ICMP or SNMP, and you're done. Nothing to install on the devices you monitor.

    • Add a device by hostname or IP
    • Choose ICMP-only or SNMP monitoring
    • No agents on the monitored devices

How it works

From a hostname to a full picture in four steps

Add a device, let NMS ping and poll it, watch the dashboards fill in — and get alerted the moment a rule trips.

  1. 01

    Add a device

Enter a hostname or IP, choose ICMP or SNMP (v2c / v3), and add it. No agent to install on the device itself.

  2. 02

    We ping & poll it

NMS pings for reachability and latency, and polls SNMP for identity, interfaces, CPU, memory and disk — continuously.

  3. 03

    Dashboards fill in

The estate board and each device's Overview, Interfaces, Health and Events tabs populate with live status and history.

  4. 04

    Alerts when rules trip

The instant a rule crosses its threshold for its duration, your team is notified — and the alert auto-clears on recovery.

Availability & SLA

Prove your uptime, not just claim it

NMS pings every device continuously and keeps the numbers behind your service levels — round-trip latency, packet loss and jitter, plus uptime rolled up over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. When something drops, the event log records exactly when it went down and when it came back.

  • Latency avg / min / max on every host
  • Packet loss % and jitter, tracked over time
  • Uptime % over 24 h · 7 d · 30 d, per device
  • A timestamped event log behind every SLA figure

Open any device and NMS lays it out in tabs — Overview, Interfaces, Health and Events — each backed by time-series charts. See the ports auto-discovered on a switch, the CPU, memory and disk on a server, and the full history of every state change, all in one place.

Who it's for

If it has network gear, NMS earns its keep

Fewer outages, faster fixes, SLA proof and capacity visibility — for anyone whose day gets worse when a link or a device goes quiet.

  • Offices & branches

Any site with a router, switch or firewall. Know your link or gateway is down before the floor does — and keep the history to prove it.

  • Retail chains

Watch the WAN link at every store from one board. A dark branch surfaces the moment it drops, not when the till stops taking cards.

  • Teams running servers

Track CPU, memory, disk and interface traffic on your servers over SNMP, with alerts before a full disk or a saturated NIC bites.

  • MSPs & ISPs

Monitor devices across many customers, prove uptime against SLAs, and only pay for the devices you actually watch this month.

Simple pricing

One flat price. Only for what you watch.

No tiers, no per-metric charges, no minimums. Turn NMS on from the marketplace and pay a flat rate for each device you monitor — add or pause devices whenever you like.

Questions

The things people ask about NMS

  • What counts as a “device”?+

Any single host you add to NMS to monitor — a router, switch, firewall, access point, server or any other host that answers on the network. You're billed ₹100 per device per month for each one you have enabled, and nothing for devices you haven't added.

  • What's the difference between ICMP and SNMP monitoring?+

ICMP is the ping-based check every device gets: is it reachable, how fast does it respond (latency), how much traffic is it losing (packet loss) and how steady is that (jitter). SNMP goes deeper on devices that support it — reading the device's own name, OS, uptime, interfaces, CPU, memory and disk. You can run a device on ICMP alone, or add SNMP for the full picture.

  • Do you support SNMP v2c and v3?+

Yes. NMS speaks both SNMP v2c (community-based) and SNMP v3 with authentication and privacy, so you can monitor older gear and modern, security-hardened devices from the same place.

  • Does it need agents installed on my devices?+

No. NMS monitors from the outside — it pings each device and polls it over SNMP, both of which are built into the network gear and operating systems you already run. There's nothing to install on the devices you watch.

  • Can I monitor both network gear and servers?+

Yes. The same tooling covers routers, switches and firewalls and your servers. Network devices expose their interfaces and status over SNMP; servers additionally expose CPU, memory and disk health over SNMP HOST-RESOURCES — all graphed and alertable side by side.

  • How do alerts reach my team?+

Through the notifications you already use — web and mobile push. Alerts are transition-gated so a flapping device doesn't spam you, and they auto-clear the moment the device recovers, so your inbox reflects reality. Every alert is also recorded in the event log.

  • How is NMS billed?+

A flat ₹100 per monitored device per month — you only pay for the devices you have enabled. Add or pause devices any time and the next invoice follows the count. It's an opt-in marketplace add-on, so you turn it on when you need it. GST applies as per Indian tax law.

  • Can I prove my uptime with it?+

Yes — that's a core reason teams run it. NMS keeps uptime % over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days per device, plus a full event log of every up / down transition with timestamps, so you can back an SLA figure with the record behind it.
